1984 Visit to Brother Printer Japan for Technical Training

Arrived into Nagoya during winter period.
Was allocated a dormitory room with no heating.
Had to walk out to a nearby shed to bathe.
Imagine having to bathe in icy cold water.
Bed was provided with a electric heating blanket to keep warm.
I was very impressed during factory lunch time where all production girls carried a tray for meal and return it after meal for washing (Singapore at that time was eat and leave it for cleaner to cleanup).
