My first part-time job at a Kitchen Tile Manufacturer

Finally I got my first part-time job as a production worker in a kitchen tiles manufacturer.

There is a long production line with lots of tiles on conveyor belt.

They are baked and polished into highly glossy tiles in batches of 4 x 4 tiles.

My job was to receive each batch of 12 tiles on my hands and stacked them up as they arrived at the end of the production line.

Timing is crucial.

If I am too slow, the next batch of 12 tiles will crash on to the floor.

I have to pickup each batch of tiles quickly and wait for the next batch arriving, all in 60 seconds apart.

Just imagine the number of batches I destroyed !
