2018 - Suspected Hemolytic Anemia
June 2018 - Melbourne, Australia
Landed in cold winter and visited a local Park.
It was very cold (even in a thick Winter jacket).
The next morning, I was shocked when I pee black urine for the whole day.
Aug. 2018 - Visited Brisbane, Australia
Arrived at my sister's home in late cold evening.
Without noticing my room windows were opened,
I slept over the night in cold weather.
By morning, I was peeing red urine.
Drank lots of water, and red urine slowly cleared by late afternoon.
Each morning for 3 nights, I was peeing red urine in the mornings.
When I am back in Singapore, my urine was back to normal.
What is hemolytic anemia?
Hemolytic anemia is a disorder in which red blood cells are destroyed faster than they can be made. The destruction of red blood cells is called hemolysis.
Red blood cells carry oxygen to all parts of your body. If you have a lower than normal amount of red blood cells, you have anemia. When you have anemia, your blood can’t bring enough oxygen to all your tissues and organs. Without enough oxygen, your body can’t work as well as it should.
