2011 - Weak Knee blood vein valve detected
My left leg began to have patches of ulcers with liquid flowing out.
Went to NUS and doctor believed it is due to blood retention in my ankle.
In a normal person, blood are pumped and flowed into the legs.
Due to gravity, when blood are been pushed upward towards the heart, a knee valve will closed to prevent blood from flowing downward back to the legs.
Through a sonic scan, they found a weak knee valve which is not able to close 100% and leaking blood back to the legs.
Doctor prescribe a special leg compression stocking to be worn daily, where it helps to push the blood upwards.
