1977 Working as a part-time machine operator for SOXAL – Making Dry Ice

I was hired to operate a huge Dry Ice Machine, making huge block of dry ice.

I have to pump liquid Carbon Dioxide into a chamber, activate the huge machine press, turning into a huge block of dry ice.

Each block of dry ice is about 25 kg and I have to carry the dry ice block from the machine to the packaging area.

Just imagine the number of dry ice burnt I got on my hands !
