I decided to undergo a second colonoscopy at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital to ensure that all polyps had been fully cleared.
The procedure went smoothly, and no new findings were detected.
The doctor then recommended a gastroscopy.
I was given a mouthpiece to bite on, which kept my mouth open, and a numbing spray was applied to my throat.
About five minutes later, a long tube was gently inserted through my mouth.
The first 30 seconds were manageable, but soon after, I began to feel discomfort.
Breathing became difficult with my mouth held open, and I started to spasm as I struggled to adjust.
Just as it began to feel overwhelming, the tube was removed, and I could breathe normally again.
During the procedure, the doctor also took images for further assessment.

There was a blood stain found on the lining of the stomach
