The Story
Imagine tracing the journey of the human race, a saga spanning six million years since our inception. This narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a world that emerged billions of years ago, a canvas that witnessed the birth and evolution of civilizations over the last 10,000 years.

It was around 6,000 years ago that the first cities sprouted, laying the foundations for structured societies. Amidst this intricate tapestry of human history, a pivotal figure emerged a mere thousand years ago — a man named “Woon.”

In this time frame, with an assumed average lifespan of 80 years and the establishment of family lines every quarter-century, one would expect the existence of 40 successive generations of Woon families. Yet, perplexingly, my search only unveiled the details of four generations.

The enigma deepens:
What became of the other 36 generations?
From whence did they hail, and how did they navigate the currents of existence?

Our body is just a platform.

What makes us unique is the self-developing decision rules that guide our actions and responses.
We can duplicate our memories into another platform, but once our decision rules are changed, we become a different soul.

Why am I developing “The Lemon Gravity of Time”?

Integrating the abstract concept of “The Lemon Gravity of Time” into the larger narrative of My’s Life Journey and Legacy elevates my personal history from a mere list of dates and events into a profound philosophical exploration of human existence, impermanence, and resilience.

On the Woon Family Portal, “The Lemon Gravity of Time” serves as the foundational answer to the central question:

“Why am I doing this?”

By examining this concept abstractly, we can see how two distinct metaphors—Gravity and Lemons—interlock to define my life’s mission.

1. “Gravity”: Time as an Unrelenting Downward Force

In abstract terms, Gravity represents the continuous, inescapable pull of time.

Left unchecked, gravity pulls all things downward toward decay and oblivion; similarly, time’s gravity pulls human lives, achievements, and family memories into silence and obscurity as generations pass.

Personal and Physical Crucible: Throughout his journey, Woon Yew Thong faced numerous “lemons”:
- Childhood loss and strict family discipline at House 60, Jurong Crescent Road.
- The shame and awakening of his 1969 Primary 3 cheating incident, which he transformed into a lifelong commitment to integrity.
- Severe medical trials, including his diagnosis and 6-cycle chemotherapy for Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma and invasive bone marrow biopsies.
- Harrowing accidents, such as his severe fall at Guilin North Train Station in 2017 and being struck by a motorbike in Hanoi in 2026.
