Officially known as the Thê Húc Bridge (Morning Sunlight Bridge), this striking, vermillion-red wooden footbridge spans the calm, emerald waters of Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi, Vietnam. Built in 1865, it is a celebrated symbol of the city, gracefully connecting the eastern shore to Jade Island and the historic Ngoc Son Temple.
The Performance: Master puppeteers stand in waist-deep water behind a screen, using bamboo rods and strings to maneuver handcrafted wooden puppets across a liquid stage.
Show Content: Features a series of short vignettes portraying rural life, Vietnamese folklore, agricultural harvests, and mythical tales (like fire-breathing dragons).
Live Music: Show was accompanied by a live traditional Vietnamese orchestra, playing instruments like flutes and monochords, alongside traditional singing.
Location: Situated in the bustling Old Quarter directly beside the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake.
It features a rich, custard-like foam made of whisked egg yolks, condensed milk, and secret ingredients atop strong Vietnamese coffee.

This dish is known as Bún đậu mắm tôm, a popular Vietnamese street food hailing from Hanoi.
It typically features a platter of rice vermicelli noodles, crispy fried tofu, boiled pork, and fresh herbs.
The centerpiece is a strong-smelling fermented shrimp paste dipping sauce (mắm tôm).
It is traditionally served on a bamboo tray lined with banana leaves.
